I had such a pleasant experience at this resort, especially while visiting the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park. The Lodge was clean and well-kept, offering beautiful views from the balcony. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals at reasonable prices, which added to the overall value of my stay. The only drawback was the dim lighting in the room, which could be improved, but it didn’t overshadow my enjoyment.

Our stay had its ups and downs. The location is simply breathtaking and truly feels like you're nestled in the mountains. The service was exceptional, making our stay memorable. However, some of the cabin conditions were disappointing, as cleanliness and maintenance needs improvement.

We checked into two different cabins, one of which had issues with a non-functioning gas fireplace and unpleasant smells. The second cabin, although better, still had some maintenance issues.

6.2/10

The lodge offers a serene and picturesque setting with beautiful mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for those looking to unwind. However, the dining experience and room conditions could use significant improvement, particularly regarding the food quality and room brightness. The golf course nearby is a great bonus, but the overall service experience left a bit to be desired.

Rooms

The standard hotel room was clean but felt dark and gloomy, exhibiting signs of age. While it was adequate for a lodge, the ambiance could be brighter.

Service varied; while some staff were attentive, there were noticeable gaps in dining service leading to long wait times for food.

The dining experience was disappointing with tough chicken and undercooked fries. While some meals were decent, the overall quality did not meet expectations.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge in Pine Mountain, thanks to its stunning views and cozy atmosphere. While the rooms could use some extra cleanliness and amenities like refrigerators, the natural surroundings were breathtaking. The dining experience was nice, and the restaurant offered generous portions, making it a great value. However, the quietness of the restaurant felt a bit off during our visit.

Pine Mountain Resort offers a lovely escape in the mountains with comfortable, clean cabins and a focus on nature. The surrounding hiking trails and views are spectacular, but be prepared for some elevation changes if you're not used to it. Overall, it's a great value for families and pet owners, though bed comfort could be improved in some accommodations.

Rooms
7.0
We stayed in a cozy cabin that was modernized and clean, equipped with a full kitchen and a woodburning fireplace, making it a perfect retreat. However, the bed comfort left something to be desired.
Service
8.0
Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the housekeeping ensured the cabin was clean and well-stocked, contributing to a welcoming experience.
Location
9.0
The resort's location is fantastic, nestled in the mountains and conveniently close to Cumberland Gap National Park, providing stunning views and great hiking opportunities.
Dining
9.0
The onsite restaurant was a major highlight with a great variety of dishes, which was especially helpful given the remote location of the resort.
Facilities
8.0
The park offers a range of facilities including clean cabins, hiking trails, and beautiful views, but the rustic nature might not suit those seeking a more luxurious stay.
